Description
ETHIBOND-EXCEL™ Suture, Green, OS-4, Size 1/0, 30" is a nonabsorbable, braided, coated polyester suture used for soft tissue approximation and ligation in a wide range of surgical procedures. It is composed of long-chain, high molecular weight polyester fibers braided to enhance tensile strength and flexibility.
The suture is coated with a polybutilate material that functions as a lubricating agent. This adherent, inert coating reduces friction during passage through tissue, allowing smoother placement and improved tactile control. It enhances the mechanical properties of the suture by offering better handling and reduced tissue drag compared to uncoated versions.
The attached OS-4 reverse cutting needle is designed to penetrate tough or fibrous tissues efficiently.
